Steve Amos has worked as an
independent training consultant since September
1998, specialising in performance management and
interviewing skills. He has worked with a wide range
of public and private sector clients, and is
particularly experienced in working with government
departments and local authorities.
Steve is committed to delivering high quality
training and development solutions which respond to
customer needs and achieve agreed objectives. He is
a clear, succinct communicator with excellent
listening and questioning skills.
In
January 2006 Steve was awarded an MSc in Training
and Performance Management by the University of
Leicester. His dissertation was on the application
of competency frameworks in the government sector.
Steve was previously employed as a
trainer for the Lord Chancellor's Department. He was
involved in developing training to support an
intensive period of organisational change, including
the implementation of competency-based HR systems
and the development of new management teams. As a
manager he worked in a variety of roles, including
three years as manager of a county court.
