Developing
Teams
in the Great Outdoors
through Traditional Woodland
Survival
skills
High Performing Teams involve a mixture of good leadership,
excellent communications, co-ordination and co-operation, creativity
and information gathering. At JamBerry we encourage participants to
stretch their potential with challenges for the brain, not
endurance,
through our outdoor team building activities.
JamBerry
encourage participants to use creativity to overcome barriers. By
taking them out of the workplace and putting them into new and
stimulating environments,
such as the great outdoors,
they will have fewer preconceived ideas
about how a challenge should be tackled and be more open to change.
We have found that Outdoor Team Building and woodland survival events are very popular and
allow a different type of stimulation to indoor activities.
Allow us to take your team
outdoors and
Into the Woods and develop their senses
in new ways.
We will give your team
a taste of traditional woodland survival skills through:
-
An awareness of their surroundings and how to
look at things in a new way
-
Be challenged to make a woodland shelter
-
Learn how to start a fire by collecting the
right materials and working together
-
Develop your communication skills
-
Build a catapult from objects found in the
forest and see how far you can fire an egg
-
Go for a guided walk in the woodland and
identify key species
-
Learn new skills such as making string from
new materials
Meeting
your business needs
Our Into the
Woods Outdoor Team Building activities can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your
business and offers individuals an exceptional opportunity to learn
about group dynamics while having fun at the same time.
Your team will gain a new knowledge of each other's strengths and
skills. Our activities are designed to allow those skills to come to
the fore where perhaps they haven't been noticed before.
We don't just throw everyone into an
experience. We back it up with good solid theory about team
development, including the 4 stages of team development: forming,
storming, norming and performing. We can also add team and
individual analysis through tools such as MBTI and others. if
appropriate, we can tie in the experience with development on
subjects such as communication skills or leadership.
JamBerry's
activities are designed for groups between 6 and 30 people.
