The Show Must Go On!
Creating a show involves
Teamwork. If all the members of your cast and backstage
crew are not working together then the result will be patchy and
unconvincing. Theatre and Drama based Team Building
workshops are designed to create a sense of team spirit,
self-confidence and trust. Whether you want to experiment with acting and
theatre skills, experience the thrill of a creating a show or simply
use actors as part of your training, JamBerry can provide a great
experience day with Team Building through Theatre and Drama workshops.
Our Corporate Team Building with Theatre options include:
Creating a Class Act:
These workshops encourage
participants to explore tools and techniques used by actors to bring out their creative abilities, improve
their communications skills through use of body language
and voice projection, and explore the
complexities of
working together as a team to create short "pieces" to show
others. |
Telling
Tales: Our
Business Storytelling

teams to explore the importance of story, and how it can be used
to develop understanding, rapport and improve communication.
|

Our Team Building with Drama workshops are
great for team bonding and team development, or as icebreakers or
energizers at conferences. They can make team building days out fun
and memorable.
For clients who want a little more depth to the day, we
can back it up
with good solid theory about teamwork. Our
Leadership and Team Development Workshops might include the 4 stages of team development: forming,
storming, norming and performing. We can also add team and
individual analysis through tools such as PRISM, Belbin or Myers Briggs Type
Indicator (MBTI).

Reveal
hidden talents and skills
Not everyone takes
to standing on the stage, but drama can incorporate a lot more than
that. If working together as a team, who creates the script and
devises the story? Who creates the props, scenery,
lights and costumes? Who should direct and what are the ground
rules? The world of
the performing arts and the challenge of putting on 'a show' can
provide a range of opportunities for individuals to reveal hidden
talents and skills, understand how others operate as well as
bringing everyone together to work on a stimulating and rewarding
task. Corporate training with actors and directors will help your team release
their creative energy and express themselves in new and hitherto
unimagined ways!
Gain
valuable insight into improving teamwork
That may mean
using acting skills to get under the skin of a different character,
interpreting body language through mime, understanding how to use
your voice and improve presentation skills, or simply identifying
how to foster greater cooperation and work more effectively
together as a team.
Meeting
your business needs
In most
organisations, the performance that takes place between
9am and 5pm is business as usual. We're given a job description, a title and we fit in
to the part we're expected to play. Millions of employees in
thousands of businesses operate that way. Does it work? The answer
is that these businesses survive, but it rarely inspires the kind of
creative and powerful teamwork that gives a competitive edge and
gets results.
By mixing
training with drama, our Team Building through Theatre and
Performance courses can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your
business and offers individuals an exceptional opportunity to learn
about group dynamics while having fun at the same time.
Your team will gain a new knowledge of each other's strengths and
skills. Our activities are designed to allow those skills to come to
the fore where perhaps they haven't been noticed before.
We don't just throw everyone into an
experience. We back it up with good solid theory about team
development, including the 4 stages of team development: forming,
storming, norming and performing. We can also add team and
individual analysis through tools such as MBTI and others. if
appropriate, we can tie in the experience with development on
subjects such as communication skills or leadership.
JamBerry's
activities are designed for groups between 6 and
100 people.
