The Team Building with Cookery events from JamBerry, are designed to use the experience of cookery to provide a backdrop for a team experience that will be both rewarding and remembered.

We adopt a highly interactive style to ensure that all attendees are active participants and ensure that every aspect of our training is relevant, realistic and practical.

Team Building with Cooking Experience Days

Learn how to set goals, create good communication, plan a task, co-operate as a group, and use your creativity. Work with a facilitator and chef to create a culinary show piece can be both fun and demanding using all of the skills needed to for a team to succeed.

The Team Building with Cookery events from JamBerry, are designed to use the experience of cookery to provide a backdrop to developing a team experience that can be both competitive and collaborative. We use Cooking to bring out a range of hidden talents and skills not always seen in the office! Team building and bonding happens as everyone plays their part in the process.

Types of team cooking experiences vary by chef and location but  might include:

The Menu Choose from a great selection of menus for your team to cook or develop your own. It might be a 2 or 3 course meal, a hot wok, a spice experience or cool creations. Tell us what you are looking for and we will create something to meet your brief.	Bake Off! Can you create a culinary masterpiece suitable for the judges? You and your team will work with professional pastry chefs to make a variety of traditional and contemporary afternoon tea items which will have to be presented for judging later on in the day. Each team must produce 3 star bake items from the list and a show stopping cake design.
Cooking the Books You are asked to create a new culinary product, whether it is a new range of chocolates, a teatime treat or a fine dining experience. Having created it you will need to pitch your idea to the buyers from a food emporium or go into the Sorcerer's Den. Great for groups where you want to include a business element to the event.	Our Daily Bread Why not set your creative and selling skills to making something and selling it for charity? We can organise the cooking event and the opportunity to sell it on to make some money for a charity of your choice.
Rise to the Challenge Create a special event by identifying your "Challenge" and then using it as inspiration to create a sumptuous feast. Themes might include ideas such as The Best of the 80s, or Back to the Future. Tell us your challenge and we will help you to design a special event for your team.	Once Upon a Cook A wide selection of cooking experiences based on traditional and less traditional stories - e.g. can you create a banquet for the Fairytale Ball, or a series of teatime treats for The Mad Hatter and his friends? Great for bonding or stretching your imagination whilst learning new skills.

So if you want to use cookery as a background to a more involved training and development workshop, or just as a great office awayday, we can provide the experience for you. Our Team Building with Cooking workshops are great for team bonding and team development, or as icebreakers or energisers at conferences. They can make team building days out fun and memorable.

Meeting your business needs

Cooking experiences can either be half or full days and can incorporate a range of development options that cover Team Bonding or Team Building, dependent on the type of experience and depth of team building development that is required. We don't just throw everyone into an experience. We back it up with good solid theory about  team development and if appropriate, we can tie in the experience with development on subjects such as communication skills or leadership.

This means that these workshops can be very versatile, meeting a wide range of needs from team members to team leaders.
